What I particularly like to do is go on quora.com – a website where people ask questions – and read the questions people ask in my niche market. Let’s say my general interest is “skin care”. Now without diving deep into the topic of target market, let’s just go to quora.com and have a look at what questions come up when looking for our interest.
And just like that you have a list of questions and topics you can write about on your blog, create YouTube videos around it etc.
You could always dive deeper into the niche when thinking about problems. Think “What problem am I solving?” You want to think about and offer solutions. Accelerated aging, acne, eczema etc. would all be problems people could face who’re looking for skin care solutions. You can tailor your niche market in that way.
